My experience originates from the private sector M.I.C.E industry followed by destination marketing and currently part of the Convention Bureau team representing Cape Town & the Western Cape. I have more than 10 years’ experience in the Tourism Industry, a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, specializing in Tourism Management (UNISA) and I am the author of the book “Science of Tourism” which has been published through Juta publishers. I aspire to promote Cape Town & the Western Cape as the number one destination to meet and visit; keep abreast of developments in the tourism industry and to generate new business leads for the destination. In my current position at the Cape Town & Western Cape Convention Bureau, as Business Development Manager, I work strategically with our products to secure MICE bids for the province.
